Kombucha is a fermented beverage that contains live probiotic cultures, enzymes, and other healthy nutrients for our bodies. These cultures have shown to improve our digestion, detoxify our bodies, and provide us with balanced energy. It has been used both historically and currently for helping people prevent and diminish cancer in the body and serves as an excellent (and delicious) means of protecting us from many other dis-eases. This workshop is divided into two parts, so be sure you are clear about which item you are purchasing, as there is a Paypal fee generated to offer a refund, and I will have to charge this to your account. 1:00 - 2:00pm Part 1: Everything you need for making your own kombucha beverage right at home! Class includes scoby (starter culture) in 16oz. mason jar, in-store live demo of kombucha-making, instructions, and a take-away handout so you can prepare your own at home! All-inclusive price of $20(Part 2 class free with purchase of Part 1 class)
2:00-3:00pm Part 2: Already have the scoby + startup kit at home? Ready to take the next step with your kombucha and begin the process of bottling and/or flavoring? Or have you had problems with your kombucha that you'd like to see addressed? This class does not include the starter culture or jar kit, but I will be doing a live demo of how to flavor & bottle kombucha first-hand, and sending everyone home with a worksheet on how to keep kombucha healthy and alive + bottling instructions. (Class $10 or free with purchase of Part 1 class.)
