The Surprising Benefits of Goldenrod (DIY Tincture-making class!)

  • Bedner's Farm & Greenhouse 315 Coleman Road McDonald, PA, 15057 United States (map)

GOLDENROD IS EVERYWHERE!!! When this plant blooms, she is sure to paint entire landscapes in shades of gold and bright saffrons and lemon-hued goodness.

Goldenrod's botanical genus name is "Solidago," which means, "to make whole." From The Herbal Academy, "Goldenrod has a history for use with the bladder and urinary system. The astringent and antiseptic qualities tighten and tone the urinary system and bladder making it useful for UTI infections. The German Commission E has officially approved goldenrod for urinary and bladder inflammations. It is a kidney tropho-restorative (tropho is Greek for nourishing), so it both nourishes and restores balance to the kidneys."

And so much more!!! Come learn how to make the tincture with us, and take at least 1oz. home for yourself! (SRP $13!)
