March Series: Free Plant Lessons at the Bridgeville Library!

This is a winter class series occurring every Wednesday evening throughout the month of March. The winter series is continuing on Weds. March 2, Weds. March 9, &  Weds. March 16.  Each class, we'll discuss the many plants available through the winter, but we will focus on one at a time per session.  Some of these plants are edible, and many of them may hold a useful space in our medicine cabinet!

March Schedule is as follows:

3/2 Winter Edibles (Learn what plants are still around for food and healing through the winter in the SWPA area!)  This class will be held near the adult reading section (NOT in the Community Room!) FYI!

3/9 Chickweed: Food & Medicine in the Backyard

3/16 Herbal Medicine-Making (teas, tinctures, salves, etc!)

3/23 Dandelion! Come find out why this plant is so much more than a weed!

3/30 Benefits of Foraging & Using Wild Plants (Learn how foraging & using wild plants can bring you back to optimum health!)
